IS THIS EXPENSIVE?



8. It's not really expensive - cadets travel outbound on the Sunday and start the return journey home on the following Friday afternoon.
As at 4 August 2006 costs are being updated but as a guide - as at October 2003 the cost of the course was £12 for food and accommodation. All travel (by train) is provided free by the Ministry of Defence.
You would, of course, provide some spending money for your child in addition to the cost of the course.
It is expected that spending money be kept to a sensible level so that no one child appears to be more well off than his/her colleagues on the course.
