DO YOU HAVE ADEQUATE DISABLED FACILITIES?
12. Our Unit HQ has three floors and a basement. The building was an office block prior to our occupation and we have worked hard and are working harder still to provide many facilities for the Cadets and Staff so that they are able to work in a safe environment. There is a lift to all floors which is ideally suited for disabled access, although access actually into the building is currently not available but it is being planned. Disabled toilet and shower facilities have already been installed. The refurbishment of the building is almost complete although there are always items cropping up from time to time. As at March 2006 we have had the whole building's electrics rewired at an approximate cost of £25,000. So watch the bulletins on the Home page of the website for News Updates.
