Q1. DO YOU HOLD TRAINING SESSIONS OVER THE WEEKENDS AND DO CADETS STAY OVERNIGHT?


1. Yes, we do hold training weekends at the Unit HQ which enables cadets to carry out concentrated study for promotional opportunities. The more qualifications they have, the more points they gain for their next step in the promotion ladder.
The cost of a weekend is approximately £6 per head currently but can change in the future.
Subs are not paid on weekends.
An essential piece of kit for weekends is a good sleeping bag and possibly a camp bed.
We also have a tuck shop, so spending money is another small essential!
Cadets are not allowed out of the unit HQ unless under close supervision.
